He/Him

Life comes with many twists and turns. At times it can be seemingly insurmountable. Like many of you, I’ve faced my share of struggles. My time in the army provided me with invaluable life experiences, equipping me to navigate through life’s traumas and adversities. Fitness throughout the years has been the anchor of my well being. It provides a realm where we not only get to challenge ourselves everyday, but it helps construct behavior patterns through discipline that can help propel us into excellence in other aspects of our life!

My fitness journey has been diverse and enriching, taking me through a myriad of experiences. From curling dumbbells with my dad at just four years old to engaging in high school sports, yoga, CrossFit, and powerlifting, each step has contributed to my growth. As an ISSA-certified personal trainer, this journey has equipped me with the skills to work effectively with a wide variety of clients. I’ve had the privilege of assisting individuals recovering from strokes, supporting those with severe mobility challenges, helping the elderly stay active, guiding people through chronic pain management, and much more, catering to many specialized needs.” Out of all the places my journey took me, the single most important principle I have learned is simple, “Greatness is within me”. The human spirit is powerful. We have put people on the moon, we created language, we have cured a plethora of diseases, created electricity and many other great things. In an age where it seems as though everything has been discovered, it is essential to remember that greatness is not exclusive to the people in history books, they have simply passed on the torch. You can change the world!

Apart from achieving our own personal greatness we have many reasons to workout! It’s great for our heart, our musculoskeletal functionality, or even to tone up some muscles! However for me personally the number one aspect of my life that has been positively affected due to fitness is my mental health. I would go as far as to say it’s the main reason I always have worked out and always will work out. Science indicates frequent exercise and exposure to sunlight can yield great results in terms of reducing anxiety, stress, and depression.

I’m excited for us to leap over hurdles, celebrate our victories, and most importantly to display the greatness we have to offer!
